Blair Freebairn
Chief Executive

Blair has built gravity models for many of the largest retailers in the last 20 years. Previously Global Head of Analytical Data at MapInfo UK, in 2011 he took the plunge, and set up his own business focused on helping businesses solve problems where location matters – GEOLYTIX was born.
Samantha Colebatch
Commercial Director

For 15 years Samantha has shaped the space expansion of retailers in Australia and the UK. After working with Coles Myer to grow multiple brands across Australia and New Zealand, Samantha moved to Sainsbury’s to lead their strategy for network expansion and later to support the transformation of their non-food operation.
Luke Whittam
Business Development Director

Based in Tokyo Luke supports our customers in the huge and fast-changing Asia Pacific region. Luke has over 20 years’ experience in network planning for a wide range of leading retailers and brands across these varied markets.
Coco Lin
Project Director

Coco has nearly 15 years’ experience in research and analysis, including retail network planning at Tesco China and real estate market research at Cushman & Wakefield. She is also an RICS member with both vision of development feasibility and understanding of the market expansion environment.

Lifan is Master graduate from Leeds University, UK. Now based in Shanghai, Lifan supports our Chinese clients with her experience in data, retail network planning and GIS.

Matt is a highly experienced international location planner, having developed network planning strategies for retailers in over 35 countries across Asia Pacific, MENA, Europe and North America during the last 13 years.

Martin has over 20 years’ experience of research and analysis in retail property, leading teams in delivering location strategy, new market entry and M&A analysis across multiple sectors of the market, with experience in the UK, Europe, North and Central America and Asia.
Danny Hart

Danny, previously based in Shanghai, is a geographer specialising in retail network planning and analysis. He has prior experience across a number of sectors including fashion, grocery and forecourt, providing consultancy and support to leading global brands, with a particular focus on Chinese and Asia Pacific markets.

Ben has over 20 years experience in Network Planning, underpinned by a passion for understanding customer behaviour. He has lived, worked, and led teams in the UK, China, Korea and Malaysia, and has experience across a range of sectors.
Wensi Kirkham
Data Scientist

Wensi Kirkham, a statistics graduate specialising in data mining, has sourced and managed wide ranging international data sets while supporting top global brands planning their retail networks. She now joins Geolytix as a data analyst, managing retail data as well as helping clients making better network planning decisions.
