Ellen joined Geolytix as a Data Scientist in June 2025, bringing experience in geospatial analytics from a breadth of consumer focussed industries; a PhD in Geographic Data Science from the University of Liverpool utilised data from a major energy supplier, and she also has experience in pet retail, vet, grocery, and loyalty and subscription programmes.

Outside of work she always has a craft project on the go, usually sewing or embroidery, but has recently taken up wheel thrown pottery. When not making a mess, she can be found outdoors exploring the Lakes, Peaks and Dales with her partner and her dog, by foot and occasionally kayak.
